25% or 1/4

In the first quarter of 2017 this country reached a new important milestone. This quarter 25% of all electrical energy consumed in this country was generated from wind or solar (mainly of course from wind). This means that one quarter of all electricity consumed in the country was from clean and "ethernal" sources.

The result is even more impressive because in recent years we are setting new records of electricity consumption: the year 2016 saw the largest electricity consumption in this country since 1990 while the first quarter of 2017 set the trend for further increase in consumption. This increase in consumption is exclusively due to the industrial growth and data centers development.
At moment there are 500 MW wind turbines built in the country. Soon should be granted the permissions for further construction of 300 MW capacity f wind turbines (should be built by the end of 2020 or early in 2021). In principle in a 5-7 years period we could get about 50% of all electricity necessary for the country from renewable sources. From the other point of view still remains the question - how to receive the remaining 50% ? We will probably go into the sea then but this would be no single necessary solution.
